New Product Release: Trident-3000 Ocean Buoy
Sealite is pleased to announce the release of the new Trident-3000 rotationally-moulded ocean buoy.
The navigation buoy is one of the largest of its class, and has a diameter of 3 meters (9.8 feet), and lantern focal height of 5 meters (16.4 feet).
The Trident-3000 is built to withstand harsh marine environments, with the polyethylene/stainless steel construction offering a service life in excess of 20 years. Each buoy is built from 4 rotationally-moulded quadrants, which fasten together to form an incredibly robust float section standing 1.8m tall.
Recently returning from the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston TX, Sealite Sales Director Chris Procter commented 'The new Trident-3000 buoy is a great addition to our larger buoy range, and puts us in an excellent position to satisfy the widening needs of our marine customers.'
New-generation polyethylene buoys are steadily replacing steel models worldwide, as customers release the benefits of the lighter-weight designs without sacrificing product performance.
The new 3m buoy puts Sealite at the forefront of marine navigation aid manufacturers, now able to provide complete systems solutions to customers from small solar marine lights right up to large ocean buoys and monitoring equipment.
Representatives from Sealite will be on-hand at the upcoming IALA XVIth Conference - held in Shanghai from May 23-26th, to discuss the product range.
