New Product Release - Nautilus-2200, 2.2mt diameter Ocean Buoy
Sealite is pleased to announce the release of the new Nautilus 2.2mt diameter ocean buoy.
The NAUTILUS-2200 is a robust, rotationally-moulded polyethylene ocean buoy designed for offshore port and coastal applications.
Working closely with key users, the Nautilus-2200 buoy represents over 12 months of design and evaluation by the Sealite engineering team, headed by aeronautical engineer Mr Graham Percy.
The buoy is rotationally moulded by Sealite from UV-stabilised virgin polyethylene, and has a 2.2mtr float diameter and 3.2mtr lantern focal height. Lantern focal height may be increased up to 4mtrs.
The Sealite Nautilus-2200 is one of the largest buoys available to incorporate a 1-piece rotationally-moulded hull, and represents exceptional value for port operators around the world.
It is the first buoy to fully embrace a 100% recyclable process, and does not contain polystyrene or other filling agents. The Nautilus incorporates a proprietary redundant-buoyancy system, whereby the float section is filled with recyclable polyethylene chambers to prevent water ingress in the unlikely event of damage.
Sales Director Chris Procter commented, "Our plan is to continue supporting our customers through a clear pipeline of new product developments and enhancements. The new Nautilus buoy is a testament to this philosophy and we feel it represents the best value product in its class".
Shipments have been made to local partners, and international orders may now be placed as deliveries are scheduled for the Middle East, Asia and Europe this month.
Customers wishing to trial a new buoy are invited to contact Sealite or an authorized distributor today.
