Sealite to Launch Apollo-155 at IALA Conference, Cape Town, South Africa
Sealite will be launching the new Long Range Lantern at the IALA Conference being held in Cape Town from the 21 – 27 March 2010.
Sealite’s Apollo-155 is an engineering accomplishment encompassing the latest in LED and optical research, electronics and thermal management. The Apollo-155 offers extraordinary range which is adjustable from 4 – 12nm+ and is available with optional monitoring systems such as GPS, GSM, RF and AIS. This unique lantern is the only single tiered lantern able to be sectored accurately in multi-colours and is also the only LED lantern able to operate as a rotating beacon.
The six day IALA Conference is held every four years and is expected to attract over 400 delegates from over 40 countries. Running parallel to the conference is an Aids to Navigation Trade Exhibition. It is here at the Trade Exhibition where Sealite will be showcasing the Apollo-155.
